Hello!  This is my first real crack at bloggyland on WordPress so bear with me as I iron out the kinks.  My better half A Pretty Life has decided to channel her inner Oprah and run a Favourite Things link up.  Being the super amazing, fantastical supportive husband it was my duty to get behind her party…that and there would be no better way to shamelessly plug my Christmas wish list for the upcoming holiday season.  So, here goes…The Hubby’s Favorite Things….

First up is the cycling backpack from Mission Workshop – The Vandal.

This is a dump truck full of awesome!!

I am an avid cyclist and gear head and have been lusting after this bag forever.  It is weatherproof, bulletproof, childproof, 100 proof, and every other proof you could imagine.  It expands from 29L capacity to 65L capacity.  To put this in terms that my better half understands, at 65L I can jam a case of beer, a pineapple, a large cabbage, a 2 pack of paper towels, and a 10 pound bag of spuds into this pack…that or 3 small children.  Bottom line, this bag is all kinds of awesome that would make any cycling hubby very happy!

Now as much as I love tools and anything to do with cycling I also have a soft spot for my next favorite – Kiehls Facial Fuel.

Facial Fuel makes my face as soft as a babies butt and not nearly as stinky!  I am sensitive to most creams and this one is gentle and does the trick…oh, and I am running out…hint hint…

What would a favorites list be without a good pair of shoes?  I am a bit of a shoe freak and have more than my fair share taking up closet space.  Hands down, my all time favorite go-to shoe are Vans.

I had check’s the first time they came around and it appears they are making a comeback.  If checkerboard is not your thing you can always pick your own colors at the Custom Shop.

One thing that equals my love for footwear would be my passion for wine.  I LOVE wine!  I was just in Napa last week and was recommended a wine by the sommelier at Coles Chophouse.  The wine that was selected is now in my Top 10 All Time Fav’s as it was deeeelish!

At $2.4 million you can’t afford not to!

The Bugatti Veyron Super Sports.  Nothings says ‘I Love You” like a $2.4 million dollar super car.  Watch as your hubby can impress the neighbours going 0 to 60 in 2.5 seconds!  Sure you can’t get a car seat in it, or groceries, or really anything.  And yeah, the gas for the two times a year you drive it would require a second mortgage…but it looks really cool and can you really put a price tag on happiness?  You can’t afford not to buy it!
