10 Hours of Sufferfest

I haven’t posted for a loooooong time so I figured it was time to get off my ass and get my brain in gear.  My cycling club – ONE AIM is putting on a little fundraiser we like to call…RBC INSURANCE CANSuffer to CONQUER 2013.  Doesn’t that sound fancy?!  The event will run just over 10 hours of Sufferfest videos (thanks for the sponsorship Sufferfest and you too RBC Insurance!) for riders to spin to in the heart of a busy shopping mall.   The participant has the option to do as many segments as they choose – only a handful of people have done all 10 in one day.  I am trying to figure out how many I can do and set my training target accordingly…right now I will be lucky to get through one.  I have eight weeks to train so I am thinking four segments but will train for five.  All the proceeds will benefit the Alberta Cancer Foundation via The Ride To Conquer Cancer.  You can check out my rider page here if you want to donate.  If you have interest in our team, the event, or just want to see me sweat like a hog,  swing by Southcentre Mall (Calgary, AB) on April 13!  I will post more details as our website comes online!

Hopefully I can still squeeze into my kit!
